There are some who have not emailed back. In fact, one relative who just happens to be a teacher in a swing state public school system (who has already told me that he plans to vote for Obama) has not sent back any reaction to the article. That is unfortunate. I would like to have known his reaction to what was written in the article. I can just imagine the pressure to vote Obama in any public school system! Something like 95% of them are probably liberal Democrats!
No one in their right mind (ha! - right mind indeed!) would ever want to reveal to those taken in by the rabid Obamabot machine (who often lash back at non-supporters) that they would rather vote McCain/Palin '08 on election day! However, as the article stated, in the privacy of the voting booth - many will probably do just that!

I ran across the following article (link below) a few days ago and posted it in the comment section of my blog. It has given so many people much hope (the real kind - not the Obamabot type) about this election.
No one knows who will ultimately win. I know that most of you are praying for McCain/Palin '08 to be victorious on election day. I am praying for them to win, too.
The media (a.k.a the "Media of Mass Deception" - MMD) would have us all believe that Obama has this thing all wrapped up. Don't believe that! When you read the article - you will know why I can confidently state this opinion.
If you witnessed the last debate, "Joe the Plumber" has now become a household name. He has been viciously attacked (on the MMD, Internet, and left-wing blogs) by the Obama campaign and their rabid supporters ever since. However, he has been embraced by conservatives (has appeared on Huckabee's show - Fox News and Fox and Friends); most of whom don't want Obama's socialism taking over this country.
The man simply asked Obama a question: will my taxes go up (when he buys a plumbing business and makes over $200,000 per year) under your tax plan?
Obama made a huge mistake. He revealed his socialistic plans when in his answer, he stated he wants to "spread the wealth around."

Zombie's site has had a huge amount of traffic due to that article. At last count, there were 302 (as of 10/20/08 at 8:56 a.m. PT) comments!! There are many, many great comments there. However, one in particular especially caught my eye:

One lie that really made me laugh was the fiction that this economic mess is all the fault of the Bush Admin. Please, we earn our living from knowing what you americans are doing and years ago, most of our big funds saw your financial crisis coming. That’s why asia is largely unhurt by your subprime crisis, because all the big funds here never bought any of your mortgage-backed securities. Nobody believed in them, so nobody except a few unfortunate ones bought them.
If your Fannie and Freddie had not imploded under all those subprime loans and mortgage backed securities, which then triggered of[f] the credit swap derivative crash, I’ll bet your stockmarket crash would not be this bad. And Freddie and Fannie and democrat institutions, just like the US army is a republican institution.
Certainly more regulation was needed, especially for the credit swap derivatives, but who were the ones pushing all these subprime mortgages and allowing a huge production pipeline and market to expand exponentially in mortgage-backed securities? Who blocked regulation of Fannie and Freddie? Your democrats.
We already had our own financial disaster in the late 90s, and yours was building up just like ours, like some massive third world multi-marketing pyramid scheme going bad.
Fortunately we had no Obama to further worsen the situation for us.
It’s great to see an african american running for the US presidency, but it’s sad to see that it is someone like Obama with his communist/socialist leanings. My hypothetical “world” vote is NOBAMA.

I read the long article and it confirmed my suspicion that the polls are skewed and self-serving. It all serves to confirm the old adage, "there's only ONE poll that matters, and that's the one on Nov.4th".
However, there is another factor apart from push-polling etc., and that is the power of God. To encourage you, think of when Sennacherib's almighty military machine, so far sweeping all before it, came to Jerusalem to sweep that away too. The situation seemed utterly hopeless, as indeed, humanly speaking, it was; but Hezekiah and Isaiah prayed, and the Lord delivered His message:
"Thus says the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, 'He will not come to this city or shoot an arrow there...By the way he came, by the same way he will return, and he shall not come to this city, for I will defend this city...', declares the Lord." 2 Kings 19:32-33.
IOW, the godless Sennacherib, with all his pretensions, reckoned without the living God, and as a result came horribly unstuck (2 Kings 19:35-36).
Likewise the political left today reckons without the living God; like the Assyrians they mock Him, and put Him on the same level as all the other so-called gods (cf. 2 Chron 32:19).
So then, with the multitudes of faithful people praying as never before: I believe, that God will, despite the many sins of modern America (abortion, promiscuity, etc.), will in wrath remember mercy (Hab.3:2).
So keep praying, and lean on His promises and His deeds of the past.
