Banned by YouTube!
It looks like my account has been cancelled and I have been banned from the YouTube site!!
What did I do wrong? I don't know. Perhaps it was the because of the 8 second 3-yr. old spitin' image of Sarah Palin Halloween video where a man asks her if Sarah Palin will be the next Vice President of the United States and she answers (sounding just like Gov. Palin), "You Betcha!" It was priceless!!
Or, was it because of the Iraq Vet - whose support for John McCain in his YouTube video has been viewed over 11 million times - was posted here?
Back in 2006, Michelle Malkin had a few of her videos banned by Youtube. I also read that a prominent blogger named John Aravosis, who writes at Americablog got banned ENTIRELY from YouTube for posting a Comedy Central video at his blog.
It has been a habit of mine to post a video here for viewing for one to seven days. Then, I revert back to a link at YouTube. I haven't had any trouble with this method over the past 4 years! What gives now?
Why pick on my little 'ole blog anyway? This blog is small time - I get from 150-450 hits per day. There are blogs (with far more visitors than I have to their sites) who constantly post YouTube videos on their blogs and they haven't been banned!
What's up with that?
Is this just more evidence of Liberal Left Bias? Do you think that if I had a POSITIVE video of Barack Hussein Obama on this blog that I most likely would NOT have been targeted?
Sheesh...
Boo...Hiss...Youtube management!

Did Mike get a job at You Tube?
Youtube is owned by Google and the CEO of Google is stumping for Obama but Google also owns Blogspot. I think I heard that more people use the Youtube search engine than Yahoo.
I would also say that there are a lot of people who are Democrats who also throw their weight around.
If it was that easy to get people kicked off of google video, they should have stopped people from posting obscene videos of the Wiggles with the voices dubbed over. And there are worse and obsene (adult) videos on Youtube which don't get banned.
Ha ha ha Matt! Maybe so! We all know that Mike tries his darndest to counter everything I, and other bloggers, share about Obama!
Sosthenes,
YouTube isn't into banning that which would be deemed harmful or sinful. They ban that with which they ideologically disagree with!
I have noticed something peculiar, though. Ever since Obama has been running for president, the instances of disappearing videos that favor the conservative side of politics have increased exponentially! Hmmmm...must be a connection - don't ya think?
WOW.
Just WOW.
Creepy sign of things to come under obama at google, digg, NBC, CNN, well the list is WAY too long.
McCain is going to win anyway.
Contact Michelle M, she does have experience with this 'issue' and might be able to help you.
I found you originally thru a MM.com link.
Good luck and GOD BLESS YOU.
(p.s. I loved the video, best ten seconds of the year)
It is amazing that the liberal left is all about 1st Amendment rights until one offers a dissenting opinion from the "O"merika view. We need to stand in prayer for our Nation.
Anonymous, it is about civil rights instead of God given inalienable rights because the liberalists have changed our government by interpreting the Constitution instead of letting literalists believe the Constitution.
Christine, ever since I started posting on this blog about politics, my computer firewall had to be tightened.
Chris...they actually removed one of my videos and ya know which one...probably not. But it was the one with Gracia Burnham talking about how she was taken by the terrorists and who eventually killed her husband Martin Burnham.
And all it was, was her testimony.
Well, that was pretty cowardly of youtube to ban you without an explanation Christine!
I'm surprised I haven't been banned yet. I wonder the criteria...(if I keep commenting on them I won't have to wonder for long!)
Geesh, Obama's not even a president and gets more "media" support than active presidents!
That is . . . assuming this was Obama related, of course!
sh007 - Glad you got to see the video! Did you view it here or at the YouTube website?
Thanks for the suggestion to contact Michele Malkin. She is probably too busy to advise me, though.
At least we see that everyone is doing all that they can to warn people about Obama. Some are listening and changing their votes to McCain. Others are so drunk with the ObamaBorg Kool-Aid, they wouldn't change their vote no matter HOW many radicals and thugs are revealed to have influenced Obama.
This election is ultimately in God's hands. We must continue to pray for His mercy...and His miracle to bring victory to McCain/Palin '08!

You have it EXACTLY right. Free speech to liberals means allowing only those who agree with their ideology to speak.
I continue to be amazed at the arrogance of Obama. He said some really pompASS things on the campaign trail recently! It will be so gratifying to see his ballooned ego go BUST after the election results!
People are catching on to him. The scales are falling from some of the Obamabots eyes - and - especially the "undecideds" who may have previously been leaning towards him!
Stacy - The removal of Gracia Burnham's testimony - after all the suffering that she and her murdered husband went through - is absolutely despicable!
The people over at Youtube must be God haters to do such a thing!
Sosthenes - Sorry about the firewall problems you are having. Now I know why you were originally reluctant to move from my message board over to blogging!
We have high security measures on our computers. However, the rats who create and spread viruses and spyware keep trying to break through...don't they. I could never understand how people could spend their lives trying to destroy other people's computers! They must not have any good in their lives to begin with.
Carlotta - I tried to get some answers to questions by my Digg friends, but many must be too busy to respond.
I have a sneaking feeling that some people may have flagged my account and the YouTube people just take their time to check out why I was flagged. I cannot access my profile there. I cannot get a connection to any video produced by youtube - anywhere! When I use a search engine, the links come up but when I click on them, nothing happens.
Just did some research and you must all see my new post!
Now I Know Why!!
Update on 11/02/08 at 5:48 a.m. PT -
Obviously, my YouTube access has been restored.
My Digg friend, John Kubicek, suggested that perhaps it was "site maintenance" that was going on. However, I haven't heard of anyone else having a problem with embedded YouTube videos at their blogs last night.
I would not know how to check this out - other than if some of my friends come over here and tell me that the same thing happened to them last night.
I still think it was highly suspicious...
Google had suspended some of the Hillary supportors (PUMA blogs) right after Obama was ILLEGALLY GIVEN (IMO) the Democratic primary victory. It took several days for their blogs to be restored. Many of them fled to WordPress and other blog support sites.
I have a WordPress blog, but I don't use it much....yet. If need be, I will transfer over there one day.
[Thanks John - for stopping by and letting me know that the videos have been restored.]
One more thing. When "maintenance" is done at Blogger, we usually get a warning. Plus, I am usually able to sign-on and view my Dashboard -even during the maintenance periods. In the YouTube situation last night, the embed videos first said, "This video is no longer available." Then, the embed link went completely blank and there was only a square white spot on my blog. Each time I would do a search, I couldn't log onto the YouTube site - AT ALL!
I still think that this is all very highly suspicious.
Christine,
You state: "You have it EXACTLY right. Free speech to liberals means allowing only those who agree with their ideology to speak."
Sorry--maybe you should not speak in such generalities. I am as liberal as they come, but I don't block anyone's speech, nor do I advocate for that. Why is it that when I hear these words from you I can't help but think of the message you sent me banning my own words at your "protect" marriage website? You can't have it both ways.

An individual Web Log - a.k.a. a "blog" is very different from a video site membership.
To ban someone (or, to reject a comment) from one's own blog is a personal choice of the blog owner. It doesn't mean that you can't go to other blogs and express your views.
However, to ban someone from the entire YouTube community because of a perceived disagreement with a person's ideology is another story entirely.
Part of free speech is the ability to have freedom of association. I created my "Protect Biblical Marriage" blog to be in SUPPORT of voting YES on Proposition 8. People who post comments urging others to vote against it and/or links to sites with the opposite ideology are not going to be published.
As I have told you before, I have been willing to discuss the subject (remember - not ALL of your comments were blocked) there. However, I draw the line at electioneering for the other side or posting links to the opposite sides' websites.
Though I don't have spyware, I think my web browser is being intercepted at the server level as your blog is stalling my web browser or it is too large for the computer to work and we have updated systems here.
If anyone wants to know what I believe, they don't have to hack my computer because what I believe can all be found in the Bible.
I got banned for making a channel dedicated to telling the Michael Jackson fans, that he was a pedophile. That channel didn't last two weeks. But, I had a lot of fun, reading the death threats, and attacks on my manhood. It was called, MJWasAPedoHaHa
