Powerful Post Election Message

Friends, this is a MUST READ! Drop what you are doing online right now and read it! Randy Thomasson of Save California.com has written THE most POWERFUL and TRUTHFUL, BIBLICAL post-election message! It should be - he has stated that it took him three days to prayerfully determine what it is that he wanted to share with all of our fellow, born-again, biblically-based Christians who are extremely concerned about the election of Barack Hussein Obama.

How Shall We Live Under President-Elect Obama? [Note: pdf file]

After you read it, please share your thoughts, questions and opinions about it. I am now going back to read all of the links in the article!

I told him I would pass his link on to you. I think you should offer to network with him. His blog does not get a lot of traffic. However, my goal is to help you to form a relationship with him. This could possibly help you to get your blogs noted in areas where you deserve to get published.

Stop by my blog sometime. I'm beginning to feel dissed ;)

while i've learned over time not to go read or watch the silliness to which you direct us daily, i went over and read the entire pdf file.

and, surprise, surprise - there are actually some things i agree with.

but his judgment of me - someone who voted for obama - as 'wicked' or lacking 'morals' is juvenile and misguided, because i am neither.

and neither is our president.

his call to respond to some things that our children are doing is wise. his failure to realize that it's a direct result of the judgmental hyprocrisy of himself and others like him displays lack of the same.

fathers have dropped a lot of their responsiblities this past generation. i dropped a lot of mine in great measure, and am working to correct them. that a lot of them were dropped in large part because i bought into the concept of a wrathful God only interested in eternity is clear to me, and unless you have walked the same 47 years in my shoes that i have - which you haven't - don't waste your fingers typing something you know nothing about.

my parents' generation tried to pass on a solid work ethic and a desire for being good citizens and doing what is 'right' to the subsequent one. however, as man has continued learning in the century that just passed us, we tended to throw the baby out with the bathwater because they also passed on a lot of don't-question-authority which a lot of their children rightly rejected.

thomasson's call for all of us to look for changes in our own hearts is spot on. to expand that into working to change the hearts of others instead of just judging them as 'wicked' would have been nice to read. whether or not we want to believe that homosexuals deserve less rights that heterosexuals, until we (traditional families) clean up our own side of the street our pointed fingers and shrill voices will only look hypocritical and judgmental. but my bet is that as we learn the grace and forgiveness needed to clean up our act, we will come to see that our judgments and our understanding of God's real heart will also change.

Mike - don't have much time so I will respond to your comment tomorrow.

Just wanted to add:

I also want to encourage all of you to send this message to everyone on your email list. Post links to it on blogs, message boards, forums etc.

Thomasson's essay analyses why so many people were blinded by their emotions and feelings (including some Christian voters!) rather than paying attention to Obama's radical ties to Marxists, Black Liberation theology, domestic terrorists, etc. The list is endless.

What I found most disturbing is the fact that so many evangelical Christians willfully abandoned God's Word, morality, ethics, and His Commandments in the Bible - and voted for Obama anyway. Randy shares some of his observations as to why that happened.

My goal is to get the word out through all of the venues available via the Internet. I hope that readers here will join in in this effor.

The main reason that I originally started this Talk Wisdom blog is for the purposes listed at the top:

Talk Wisdom's goal is to defend the tenets and values of Biblical Christian faith - especially when speaking out against destructive social and political issues. As his followers, we should boldly stand up for Jesus Christ in our present circumstances. He is our Savior, Lord, and King, and His love needs to be shed abroad in our hearts and in our world - now.

After the results of this election, we need to be ever more diligent in our work.

"unless you have walked the same 47 years in my shoes that i have - which you haven't - don't waste your fingers typing something you know nothing about."

"until we (traditional families) clean up our own side of the street our pointed fingers and shrill voices will only look hypocritical and judgmental."

Your refrains are typical, Mike. They are typical liberal tripe. Abdicate all personal responsibility for behavior. It's always some else's fault. ("it's a direct result of the judgmental hyprocrisy of himself and others")
Even as you make a show of claiming responsibility, you deny it. It wasn't your fault. It was the false view of God you were sold.

And then you throw up a wall and say "Don't dare criticize me. You don't have the right unless you've gone through everything I have." Guess what? Wrong is wrong no matter what you have or haven't experienced.

And your stuff about the problems stemming from "don't question authority" and children rejecting it these days is a load of crap, as is it being any kind of reason why so many fathers, or mothers for that matter, dropping the ball. Fathers are dropping the ball in a large part because society made it easier for them to do. Between bitter feminists saying that men were unnecessary to government programs that only made families eligible for assistance if one parent left, to the concept that the individual's happiness overrides all other considerations.

And it isn't that children have rejected the message "don't question." They just found a message they like better to not question. Your kind is giving them a nice comforting message of "don't worry about trying to be better, you're perfect just the way you are. Sure, you may be lazy or a cheat or sleep around or have a dozen children with no real structure, but that's no reason to feel bad..."

With the garbage you preach Mike in most cases there is no reason for God to bring down his wrath. The people's own actions will bring more than enough misery down on them. And then people like you will teach them not to worry, that the government should step in to fix it. It's obvious a lot of them already believe it, and that's a tragedy because they are being set up for a life of dependency. They'll never really grow up, and never experience the pride and fulfillment that comes with it. Chances are they will end up bitter like you, because what they've been taught to expect can never be attained and certainly will not fill the void within.

gary, anyone reading the comments between you and me in this thread can easily see who the bitter one is. it's amazing how that judgmental God can effectively again make us into His image; and, once it happens, we return the favor in an endless cycle that gives both of us quite ugly features.

but then Jesus comes. and while i'm quite certain he got a kick out of poking a finger in the eyes of the pharisees (much like i do here), it also broke His heart to see them as sheep without a shepherd, as people who needed to be shown to approach God as 'abba, Father', and as quite simply people from whom perfect love had yet to cast out fear.

i hope you have a good Lord's day. it's another picture perfect day here in georgia - they don't make many like this.

Obama Must Provide a Vaulted Copy by 1 December 2008

Jim!!

Thanks for that link! Although this is a very serious subject, I must admit that I had a good laugh reading over there.

I got to the second page of comments and found one that was so hilarious!

notjenna wrote:

The wingnut allegations of Obama's are to be taken seriously (seriously!) and there should be an Independent Counsel appointed (Ken Starr's available!) along with the requisite budget of $70 million.

On the other hand, we can bypass the trouble and expense on an independent investigation and ask Obama himself. He has addressed this very important issue already and I'm convinced. I think the law covering his place of birth and his eligibility for the office goes back to the 29th amendment of the US Constitution.

"Contrary to the rumours you have heard, I was not born in a manger," Mr Obama said.

"I was actually born on Krypton and sent here by my father, Jor-el, to save the planet Earth."

Who can dispute that?

I can, I think his father did something over a flower pot and he came out a BLOOMING IDIOT

Glad you got that. Comcast locked the thread. I can't really remember any of my threads that did not get locked when they were doing a good job in derailing Obama.

What is different now is the fact that the situation no longer involves Berg vs. Obama. With Justice Souter requiring the vault long official COLB to be shown to him at the U.S. Supreme Court, it has now become a case of the U.S. Supreme Court vs. Obama!

From NEIN blog:

Quote: "...has agreed that a review of the federal lawsuit filed by attorney Phil Berg against Barack Hussein Obama II, et al., which was subsequently dismissed for lack of standing is warranted. SCOTUS Docket No. 08-570 contains the details.

A review of that docket and the Rule 10 of the Supreme Court makes abundantly clear that Justice Souter's granting of a review on the Writ of Certiorari is not a right entitled to citizen Phil Berg, but rather is a matter of judcial discretion based upon a compelling reasons. That compelling reason is the Constitutional requirement that "No person except a natural born citizen ... shall be eligible to the office of President..."
/quote

Obama isn't getting out of this one!

For those just catching up in this thread, go to:

The NEIN blog

I have previously expressed concern over the premature briefings that Obama is being allowed to attend with the Bush Admin. Sounds like a serious mistake to me!

Here is a copy of the rest of Sean Osborne's blog post:

Quote: A review of that docket and the Rule 10 of the Supreme Court makes abundantly clear that Justice Souter's granting of a review on the Writ of Certiorari is not a right entitled to citizen Phil Berg, but rather is a matter of judcial discretion based upon a compelling reasons. That compelling reason is the Constitutional requirement that "No person except a natural born citizen ... shall be eligible to the office of President..."

What this means is that on or before 1 DECEMBER 2008 Barack Hussein Obama II must respond to the writ of certiorari, and since the Berg v Obama case hinged primarily on the question of Obama's place of birth, it is almost inconceivable that Barack Obama will thumb his nose at the Justices of the Supreme Court and he is absolutely compelled to provide a vault copy his original birth certificate.

Another very salient fact to consider at this time is that, despite all of the pronouncements of the print and broadcast media, Barack Obama is not yet the President-elect of the United States. Barack Obama can only become the President-elect after the Electoral College convenes on 15 DECEMBER 2008 in their respective state capitals around the nation and casts their votes to elect the President and the Vice President. As you can see this election day occurs two weeks after the required response to the Supreme Court granted Writ of Certiorari.

The bottom line is this: the presidential election of 2008 remains an ongoing process, the outcome of which remains undetermined, and all talk about a potential Constitutional crisis in the United States are at least 36 days premature.
/quote

Note this additional comment. It points out that Obama is not OFFICIALLY President-elect until "the Electoral College electors cast their ballots on 15DEC08."

Sean Osborne:

Quote: I definitely need to expound for everyone on the very profound implications of what I have written in this NEIN Blog entry.

First, look at and read carefully the words seen in the image. What is stated there is the function of the federal judiciary, particularly and pentultimately, the U.S. Supreme Court. There is no higher leagal authority in the U.S. Government.

Obama [or his lawyer(s)] MUST respond no later than 1 DEC to the SCOTUS-granted Writ of Certiorari.

VERY, VERY FEW writs of this type are ever granted by SCOTUS.

This writ was granted due to some very compelling reasons - the number one reason hinges on whether Obama is Constitutionally elibible to hold the office of POTUS.

Obama MUST respond NLT 01DEC08.

Obaama has two options in his response.

1. Tell the SCOTUS to take a flying leap by repeating his non-response to the federal court in PA or by asking for dismissal.

This is NOT a viable option for Obama to take. Remember your elementary, high school and college-level "Government 101" class education on the three co-equal branches of our government. Would Obama dare to tick-off deluxe the currently Conservative majority in the SCOTUS? He might, but, again, that course of action is highly inadvisable. I can conceive that should Obama flip the court the bird that the SCOTUS would then hold Obama in contempt and subpoena his vault birth certificate from the State of Hawai'i. Then the fight would really be on.

2. Comply and provide exactly what is requested of him in the Writ.

Obama is between a rock and a hard place IF there is no legal proof that he was born in Hawai'i. Evidence and legal proceedings to date strongly indicate that this is the fact of the matter.

Barack Obama IS NOT the President-elect. NOT YET. Obama does not become President-elect until the Electoral College electors cast their ballots on 15DEC08.

Which occurs first - Supreme Court proceedings, of the Electoal College voting?

The Electoral College electors in the various states do not have to vote for Obama. They can cast their votes for whomever they choose for both President and Vice President.

As I sstated the 2008 election process is not over- it is still very much an active process - with key Constitutional issues before the Supreme Court of the land.

So why is NO ONE in the MSM talking about this???

Why...INDEED!

Answer: Because they are the "Media of Mass Deception" - THAT'S WHY!

If sharing the truth about certain matters is called "watch[ing] the silliness to which you[I] direct us daily" - then go right ahead. Call me silly.

1Cr 1:20 Where [is] the wise? where [is] the scribe? where [is] the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

1Cr 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

Pro 10:14 Wise [men] lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish [is] near destruction.

I guess someone will be blamed on stealing the election if the justices have anything to say about this and if in fact he is inelligible.

Mike,

Your words sting, but they would sting worse coming from a person of integrity. My fear is for the believers like you, who have a form of Godliness, yet deny its power. Who believe that God came with only forgiveness, but no power to conquer sin, and thus leave us in the same helpless state we were in. You reveal this attitude each time you preach the mercy of God to the unrepentant while condemning those who pursue his word.

The Pharisees fault was not excessive legalism, as many assume, but in substituting the laws of man for the laws of God, much as you do. As you have said before, I cannot judge the state of your salvation, for only God knows that. I do know that Christ proclaimed those who disobey his word and teach others to do the same will be the least in the kingdom. I think it a tragedy that you are satisfied with so little. That you encourage others to do the same is far worse.

You do not stick the finger in the eye of Pharisees, but rather of those who remind you that there is far more to worship than accepting grace. I pray that some day you shall accept Christ as Lord as well.

jeleasure said...

Those who have a form of Godliness but deny its power are the very persons who will suffer from an Obama administration. Because, frankly, I see Obama as a form or a representitive of the Anti Christ. He very much appears as the rider on the white horse, armed with a bow and no arrows in his quiver.
Obama came in speaking peace when the fact is, there is none. He intends to go to our enemies in their aggression and talk to them about it with no preset conditions. Just go for a little chat and everything will be worked out.

okay, okay ... i tried to sit here and behave myself and find some common ground. but then we go off sticking 666 on obama's lapel ... which would be humorous if i didn't really think you believed it.

is there a nutjob filter we can turn on?...

let john hagee and his ilk read their names in the pages of revelation, ok? set the bar a little higher here.

Mike,

Now there you go again being needlessly insulting. Wouldn't it be a far better tactic to mention all of the good that Obama has done? Like what about all that money he made for that Rezko fella while he was a community organizer? Well, that might not be so good... How about his generous charitable contributions to charity? Oh, yeah. He didn't really do much until he started running for high office. Until then, he gave squat. Well, what about....Hmmm... I see your point, Mike. Finding positives is a bit difficult. Carry on.

gary, your obsession with me is starting to make me a little nervous. i'm wondering if i should look into getting a restraining order...

please tell me you don't have posters of me up on your wall, with 'be like mike' written all over them...

especially potss...

maybe david letterman can give me some advice. he had that crazy woman for all those years - he ought to be able to give me some pointers...
